Kaleidoscope Project
Newton MA - 07/2010
72 kids from Camp Kaleidoscope in Newton, MA, ages 4 to 8 years old
Three groups of 20-25 kids per session of 45 to 60 minutes
Each group of 10-25 kids was split again into three to four smaller groups (6 to 8 kids per group)
Vitreous tiles, stained glass, and glass gems on MDF (1 sq. ft. each)
All tiles classified by color and cut in different shapes, ready to use.
Each small group worked on a table on one kaleidoscope.
Ten kaleidoscopes in total.
Color drawing and painting greatly helped the younger kids to lay out the tiles in the corresponding places.
