CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS

Explore the art of mosaics and surprise yourself (and others) with the professional mosaic pieces you'll be able to create. Chromatile classes will teach you how to cut, set, and glue tiles. Then, you will learn to grout and finish the mosaic art pieces that you'll bring home or give as gifts. The classes include a huge selection of glass and ceramic tiles to choose from (about 200 different types!). Chromatile classes will offer you lots of examples to get your ideas flowing but you will also be encouraged to develop your own designs. Your creativity, whether apparent or somehow hidden, will surprise you.

Mosaic workshops on contemporary mosaic techniques are taught throughout the year. Some focus on learning specific skills (e.g., 3D-mosaics, making polymer clay tiles, shaping and grinding stained glass). Other workshops focus on making specific functional art projects such as "Make your own Menorah", "Make your own Seder plate", wearable forms of art, jewelry holders, mirrors, others.
